Last updated on JUNE 15, 2018

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When creating a manual purchase order and using the 'Expand Item' option, RMS expands the item including all children on the purchase order. This includes children in active, discontinued, inactive, and deleted status.
RMS does not allow the purchase order to be approved for the items in discontinued, inactive, and deleted status.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use an item with multiple children.
2. Mark at least 1 of the children either discontinue, inactive, or deleted at the warehouse location that will be on the purchase order.
3. Create a purchase order.
4. Add the item parent.
5. Use the 'Expand Item' option.
6. Notice that all children are added to the purchase order, including the children that are not active at the warehouse location.
