Last updated on FEBRUARY 27, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Health Insurance Enterprise Policy Administration - Version 2.16.2.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On :  2.16.2.0.0 version, Processing

When doing a new enrollment (test environment) without saving the policy between the steps 'Edit policy' and 'New enrollment' a synchronization error appears:

GEN-UINT-002: Errors found, changes are not saved
Error During synchronization a new object was found through a relationship that was not marked cascade PERSIST:
PersonPoliciesDomain{id=4415, code=PER1001011, dateOfBirth=1978-09-09, dobInterpretation=Exact, firstName=Bas,
functionDynamicLogicId=221, gender=Male, name=Magalo}.; nested exception is java.lang.IllegalStateException: During
synchronization a new object was found through a relationship that was not marked cascade PERSIST:
PersonPoliciesDomain{id=4415, code=PER1001011, dateOfBirth=1978-09-09, dobInterpretation=Exact, firstName=Bas,
functionDynamicLogicId=221, gender=Male, name=Magalo}.

Although there is a workaround by pressing 'Save' between 'Edit policy' and 'New enrollment' , the user is unable to recover from this error, except from doing everything all over again.
