Why It Is Mandatory To Have The EUR Currency In RMS Tables?

During the process of creating a new regular item on Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS), when clicking "Retail by Zone" option the following error message occurs: "An Exchange Rate does not Exist".

The issue is resolved by adding the EUR currency in the CURRENCY_RATE table.

Why it is mandatory to have the EUR currency in RMS tables?
