Advanced Search on Procedures Using Dynamic Field Causes Error (Doc ID 2238742.1)

Last updated on MARCH 28, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Health Insurance Claims Adjudication - Version 2.16.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When using the Advanced Search on the Procedures screen and including a dynamic field in the search criteria, an Unexpected Exception is raised.
Searching with the other fields in the Advanced Search seems to work fine. At the moment the search is performed including the dynamic field, the error pops up.

ERROR
-----------------------
Error
oracle.adf.model.adapter.MapterException:
DCA 29000: Unexpected exception caught:
java.Iang.reflect.InvocationTargetExceptlon, msg=nuII

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Define dynamic field on procedure.
2) Go to Procedures screen and use Advanced Search to filter on dynamic field.

Due to this issue, users cannot do an Advanced Search using a dynamic field: Dynamic fields are explicitly added to classify Procedures and filter on them. Definition of the field has indicator to enable search capabilities.
