Symptoms

On FTP 8.0.2 , in a brand new OFSAA instance, while verifying the User interface there appears to be an issue with the Rate Management : Interest Rates screen. When attempting to edit or add a new one, the following error appears in page

ERROR
" Invalid request/error while processing request"



This error may appear on a few other screens, but many screens including Application Preferences appear to have no issue. The following error also appears in the Catalina localhost.2017-01-25.log or in catalina.log:

An error occurred at line: [281] in the generated java file: [/bxp/oft/apache-tomcat-8.0.39/work/Catalina/localhost/ofsaa/org/apache/jsp/fsapps/common/rates/ircDetails_jsp.java]
The code of method _jspService(HttpServletRequest, HttpServletResponse) is exceeding the 65535 bytes limit

  at org.apache.jasper.compiler.ErrorDispatcher.javacError(ErrorDispatcher.java:198)
  at org.apache.jasper.compiler.JDTCompiler.generateClass(JDTCompiler.java:457)


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Rate Management -> Interest Rates
2. Attempt to edit or create new Interest Rate Code (IRC)
