QUESTION
Users are experiencing errors when working with multiple types of service using the same physical connection
Case: Install one type of service which will contain a physical connection (In this case a MIP Hosted with the virtual data and virtual voice). Then, install an additional service to ride that existing physical connection (in this case MetroE).
The orders will be separated but can run either concurrently or additional services can be added to that physical on future orders.
We are aware the system is working as designed, however, we are at a cross-road as to the best practice for these types of orders. If the customer physically moves, we would be unable to DD complete the orders.
The physical would not be able to be completed because it has an active CKT on it and the additional services order will not be able to be DD completed because the new physical connection it’s riding is not in service.
Putting all of these Services on one order isn’t a viable option for us at this time.
