In "Process Tuning Options" , would like to use "custom data slicing column" (apart from the available key data slicing dimensions) for creating equal sized "units-of-work" . To achieve this, would like to use an existing column that is available in all FSI_D_xxx instrument tables and which is not being used currently by ALM/FTP 8.0.1 applications. The intention is to avoid new data model changes and to use any existing column if possible.

Is this allowed? Should a custom column be created? What column is recommended to be used?
