Last updated on MARCH 21, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management - Version 14.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Store Inventory Management (SIM) application, find that, the audited sales transaction from the Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) application fail with a "Unable to find valid processed transaction" error. SIM adds the store ID to the transaction ID during the RetailSaleAuditImport.sh batch run, causing the issue.

Steps to Recreate:

1. Upload a sale transaction from POS to SIM either using webservice or the PosTransactionImport.sh batch
2. Write down the transaction ID
3. In ReSA, audit the transaction and change the quantity sold (ex: Original sale for 5 units and audited for 2 units)
4. Run the required ReSA batches and generate the input file to SIM
5. Note that the transaction ID in the file is the same as the original sale transaction from Step 1 above
6. Run the RetailSaleAuditImport.sh batch with the input file
7. Query SIM database table POS_TRANSACTION and find that the transaction failed
8. Note the EXTERNAL_ID column of the above transaction and note that SIM added Store ID to the transaction ID
9. Query SIM database table POS_TRANSACTION_LOG and find that the transaction failed with "Unable to find valid processed transaction" error
