Issue With "Rules And Behaviors" Calculating the Due Date (Doc ID 2238963.1)

Symptoms

Issue with "Rules and Behaviors" since upgrade to v1039

The customer has an issue where any rule they have created where a task is INSERTED, MetaSolv sets the completion date of the task out how ever many completion days you set it to after TODAY rather than after the date of the task is preceding. So if I put in the rule for Task A to complete 2 days after Task B (Due Date) and I set my due date for 8/31/16... it sets the due date of Task A to 8/11/16 (2 days after today) instead of 2 days after 8/31/16.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create a rule For example, I have RULE CCCC in place which will automatically INSERT a 3 XCON task based on certain parameters.

2. As you will see, we have the rule set up to INSERT The 3 XCON task after the DD task with a completion of 2 days. This should mean that the 3 XCON task will be due 2 days after the DD.

3. However, when you actually set a provision plan and the parameters are set to INSERT a task, it makes the task due 2 days after whatever day you create the order (i.e. today).

4. This functionality works correctly in 6.2.1.849 and does not in 6.2.1.1039.
