Some records are not returned in the Endeca Browser of Experience Manager when searching or navigating for them. In these cases, a search or navigation is taken and either the results do not get refined, or, 0 results are returned. Note, for search use-cases, the same search would return results in the web application or Endeca JSP reference application.
By "tailing" the Dgraph request log when these symptoms occur, it is possible to obtain the query sent by the Endeca Browser and confirm that the query is actually returning records. For example, if the following query was related to the Endeca Browser, its possible to see in the Dgraph request log entry that the query returned 4992 records, even though those records don't get displayed in the Endeca Browser:
