SSL Certs On A Frontend System - Is pkcs11.txt Needed In Addition to cert9.db and key4.db? (Doc ID 2239878.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Messaging Server - Version 8.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On a backend Messaging Server system (which has its own certificate), the following files were created when certutil was run:

-rw------- 1 imsadmin ims 408 Aug 31 07:57 pkcs11.txt
-rw------- 1 imsadmin ims 16384 Aug 31 08:00 key4.db
-rw------- 1 imsadmin ims 15360 Aug 31 08:00 cert9.db

On frontend systems, which all need to share the same certificate, does the pkcs11.txt file need to be copied over, in addition to the cert9.db and key4.db files?
