Users Of Newly Created Groups Are Unable To Login To OCA

Symptoms
Customer created groups by updating the ejb-jar.xml & weblogic-ejb-jar.xml under asap${ENV_ID}/ssam.jar. They then recycled the WebLogic server after the update. Customer then created the groups in the WebLogic console with the same name as given in the xml files and assigned them to the user, but when the user logs in , an exception is seen.
jar xvf asap${ENV_ID}.ear ssam.jar
jar xvf ssam.jar META-INF/ejb-jar.xml
jar xvf ssam.jar META-INF/weblogic-ejb-jar.xml
Edit ejb-jar.xml and weblogic-ejb-jar.xml to add/remove/modify roles to users/groups
jar uvf ssam.jar META-INF/ejb-jar.xml
jar uvf ssam.jar META-INF/weblogic-ejb-jar.xml
jar uvf asap${ENV_ID}.ear ssam.jar
