Error: "User Defined Field (UDF) Text Field Value Cannot Exceed 120 Characters" in the Standard View as it Should Allow 255 Characters. (Doc ID 2240361.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
In the Standard View, add column for Project UDF and paste in text with more than 120 characters.  The text cuts off at 120 characters.  In the Classic View, add column for Project UDF and paste in text with more than 120 characters.  This pastes all the text as the Maximum limit is 255 characters.

Switch back to Standard View and the UDF displays all the text exceeding the 120 characters. Click in the cell and it outlines in RED and a RED Error tab appears in the top of the screen, click this Error tab to see message "UDF Name" cannot exceed 120 characters."

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. EPS page - In the Standard View add column for Project UDF and paste in text with more than 120 characters...cuts off at 120.

2. Switch to Classic View, add column for Project UDF and paste in text with more than 120 characters....pastes all the text. Maximum limit is 255 characters.

3. Switch back to Standard View and the UDF displays all the text exceeding the 120 characters.

4. Click in the cell, it outlines in RED and a RED Error tab appears in the top of the screen, click this Error tab to see message "UDF Name" cannot exceed 120 characters."


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

For the UDF to be accepted with more than 120 characters in the Standard View.
