SIM Handheld(HH) Displays 'Not a Valid Number' Error While Trying to Add Item to a Location

Information in this document applies to any platform.
On Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM) Handheld device (HH) emulator, when the user is trying to add an item to a sequencing location, the following error is received:
Steps to Recreate:
1. Navigate to Inv. Management > Sequencing > Sequence Location.
2. Select the location.
3. Enter an item ID.
4. SIM HH will display the quantity and capacity values.
5. Press enter and see the above error message.
