DM TIMEOUT Creates Core DUMP (Doc ID 2242732.1)

Last updated on MARCH 31, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : version, DM

During failover testing, it is noticed that DM_ORACLE is generating core dump when there is a connection timeout.
The same scenario works fine if dm_trans_timeout is set, but it does not work with database_request_timeout_duration (e.g. 7000)

Run testnap and see core file in  ~/sys/dm_oracle directory.
