Missing Generation File Leads To Errors Within Staging/Authoring Assembler (Doc ID 2244189.1)

The Staging site is connected to the Authoring Server via the Assembler application deployed on Tomcat server from the ITL server.

The ITL server had to be restarted and the Staging Assembler application is not working now, throwing below errors.

There are several Production Assemblers (working without any errors), but business users are not able to push to Production any Experience Manager changes due to the Staging Assembler issue.

Tomcat catalina.out log is showing:


It has been determined that, at some point in time, the .../generation_data/APPNAME/generation.xml file had references to generation_*.zip files that were no longer present in the .../generation_data/APPNAME/ folder.

The issue was not resolved by restoring missing generation_*.zip files from backups or by modifying the generation.xml file to reflect the exact list of generation_*.zip files from the .../generation_data/APPNAME/ folder.
