TRANSACTION AUDIT TRAIL NOT SHOWING UPDATED/CORRECTED AMOUNTS (Doc ID 2244928.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 07, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Sales Audit - Version 14.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When the Sales Auditor makes changes to the ReSA transaction, clicks 'Save', this creates a Revision, they will click on 'Save and Close' to exit the transaction, notice that these changes are also available in the
Transaction Audit Trail for the transaction in the UI.

However, if the Sales Auditor makes changes to the ReSA transaction and simply clicks on 'Save and Close' to exit the transaction, and they go and check the Transaction Audit Trail for this transaction, the changes are not
shown in the UI. Although SA_TRAN_HEAD for that transaction marks that a revision exists for that transaction.

Instructions To Recreate:

Scenario 1:

a. Transaction is present in SA_TRAN_ITEM table with quantity One, Audit trail not available.
Edit the transaction. Update quantity to Two, Click Save. (Revision written to SA_TRAN_ITEM_REV with quantity 1). Click Save and Close.
(Revision written to SA_TRAN_ITEM_REV with quantity 2).
