Last updated on JUNE 28, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.1.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.2 version, User Interface in PROD:

ASCP Workbench showing incorrect organization code after changing the name in EBS in EBS Source Instance. Users changed the organization code from from OTT to OMT. They also made the same change in the in the Instances form in Navigation Advanced Planning Administrator / Admin / Instances. They ran complete refresh of data collections and View Collected Data show the correct organization. However after re-running the ASCP plan, and drilling down the Navigator Tree for the plan to the organization, only the old organization code = OTT shows up. If they query data in the actual workbench itself, it does show the correct organization code. The issue then appears to be isolated to the Navigator Tree when drilling down into the plan. Further investigation shows the following sql:

Select *
from msc.msc_company_sites;

shows both company site names CLR:OTT and CLR:OMT with Planning enabled = Yes

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expected to see only the new organization OMT in the plan output

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Change EBS source instance organization code from OTT to OMT
2. In Advanced Planning Administrator / Admin / Instances change the organization from OTT to OMT
3. Run data collections
4. View Collected Data shows only the new organizatoin OMT
5. Run ASCP plan
6. In the Navigator drill down of the plan, it shows the old organization OTT
