CCB Premise Information Zone - Next Meter Read Date From MDM Has No Time Component (Doc ID 2247282.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 01, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management - Version and later
Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

CCB > Control Central > Account Information > Premise Information zone (C1-RETCCPRMI) calls MDM D1-ExternalSPDeviceDetails for details such as: SP Info, Device Config Info, Next Scheduled Read Date, Measurement Cycle Info, Measurement Cycle Route Info. MDM returns Next Scheduled Read Date as YYYY-MM-DD, but this causes an error and the CCB zone fails to display the MDM information.

MDM sends:

3700 Mt Pleasant Street NW, North Canton, OH, 44720, USA / Water Residential (OPAL) / Monthly - Day 1, Route 1 / Next Scheduled Read:11-01-2016 / Active
  Water Smart Meter / Effective Date/Time:09-01-2011 0:00:00 EDT / Water Residential Smart - 60min HCF / 1 Measuring Component(s) / Active
  Monthly - Day 1
  Route 1

Note well, 2016-11-01, which causes CCB to fail:

SYSUSER - 261937-60-1 2016-10-20 11:28:11,520 [[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '2' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] ERROR (support.schema.MessageRepository) Detail of Schema input error: Input request field (nextScheduledReadDateTime) (xpath=/output/externalIds/externalIdsList[1]/nextScheduledReadDateTime) has an invalid value '2016-11-01' for data type DATE_TIME: Invalid Date/Time value 2016-11-01, expected in format YYYY-MM-DD-HH.MM.SS..
