Mismatch Seen in Number of Emails When Mailbox is Moved from One Store to the Other (Doc ID 2250094.1)

Symptoms

Consider the rehostuser utility being used to move a Messaging Server user's mailbox from one host to another host.

Example:

rehostuser -u userid -d mailhost [-p partition] [-c imsconnutil] [-b imsbackup] [-s ssh] [-r imsrestore] [-e] [-o iss_src -t iss_dest -y scp_user [-z src_path] [-w dest_path]]

Users may see a mismatch in the number of emails, once the migration is completed.

Other facts:

Users see mismatch in number of emails when mail account is moved from one store to the other.  We tried with imsbackup and imsrestore but still saw  the same result and we see the user is missing emails.
Both imsbackup and imsrestore appear successful and no errors are returned, but it is observed that there is a mismatch in emails between the source and destination server.

This user is moving from a Solaris store to a Linux store.
