Enhancement Request : IRL/EDI/RFM Does Not Handle Catch Weight Items For PO Receiving Related Transactions (Doc ID 2250381.1)

Last updated on MARCH 31, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Fiscal Management - Version 14.1.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

IRL/EDI/RFM does not support scenarios in which catch weight items are ordered at CW simple pack level and the NF is received at pack level when the supplier informs two different UOM and in the NF: commercial UOM related fields and tributary UOM related fields: the tributary UOM is KG and the commercial UOM is expressed in units of simple packs.

The following should be noted :

  1. The tributary quantity informed by the supplier in the NF might be the actual net weight of the merchandise and not the nominal.
  2. Tributary values are based on tributary UOM related fields and not in the Commercial UOM related fields.
  3. The physical actual net weight might be informed (in the weight fields) in addition to the received quantity. Upon the physical PO receiving, RMS TRAN_DATA and ITEM_LOC_SOH are updated accordingly, but RFM does not capture those differences,so there is no way of processing them in order to pay.

IRL/EDI/RFM should handle PO receiving of catch-weight properly :IRL/EDI and manual input of NF, RFM discrepancy identification and resolution, physical receiving processing, FM Tran data for financials and info processing for SPED purposes.
