Goal

On Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management(BRM), 7.5.0.14.0 version, Subscription Management,

It is observed that when a discount is purchased and cancelled in same day or in same cycle, the prorated rules are not being considered during cancellation.

<discount mode="parallel" type="subscription">
<discount_name>ABOD_DISCMP01</discount_name>
<discount_code>ABOD_DISCMP01</discount_code>
<priority>30</priority>
<description>Promo Multi-Packs 10 euros</description>
<permitted>/service/custom</permitted>
<discount_usage_validity discount_partial_validity_flags="prorate" discount_to_validity_flags="full" discount_from_validity_flags="prorate"/>
<discount_cycle_validity discount_partial_validity_flags="prorate" discount_to_validity_flags="full" discount_from_validity_flags="prorate"/>
<discount_usage_map snowball_flag="no" discount_flags="discount_inactivated">
<event_type>/event/billing/product/fee/cycle/cycle_forward_monthly/fnd</event_type>
<discount_model>ABODMD0128</discount_model>
</discount_usage_map>
</discount>

Tests show that :
            - discount purchased in day D -> proration of “-10 euros” applied and correct.
            - if discount cancelled in day D -> BRM cancel the discount and apply a fee of same amount of discounting.
            - if discount cancelled in day D+3 -> BRM cancel the discount and apply a fee within value calculated with prorate of the global amount and number of days (to BDOM).
