RPAS Classic Client: Why Is Export Feature Using Space Separator in the Export File? (Doc ID 2251067.1)

In Classic Client, why does the Export sheet utility under File Tab, export values with spaces (e.g. 123456 78) if the format used in the worksheet uses space as a separator?

When enabling 'Use separator' in Format Options under Types Tab, measures are shown with spaces separating thousands from hundreds for e.g. 123 456,78. When using the Export sheet utility under File Tab, the values are exported with these spaces (e.g. 123 456,78) retained, but the spaces are not recognized as numbers in Excel.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a workbook.
2. Select a measure.
3. Right click and choose Format > Measure.
4. Under Types Tab, enable 'Use separator'.
5. Under File Tab, select 'Export sheet'.
6. Values are exported to the xls file with space between hundreds and thousands such as 123 456,78 rather than the expected 123456,78 format.
