Error: "Invalid User Name or Password" Launching an Internal Plugins Tool Configured for LDAP Authentication, and an Object in the Configured Distinguished Name (DN) Starts With a Special Character

When attempting to launch Claim Digger, users are prompted to provide login credentials, after which the following error occurs.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to P6 Professional
2. Select Tools > Claim Digger
3. Login prompt displays
4. Enter credentials and click OK
5. Error is displayed
Due to this issue, users cannot access Claim Digger or run any other Internal Plugin API tools.
