Inventory Value at month level does not match Inventory Value without time dimension

The Out of the Box Oracle report called Inventory Performance Summary includes a column called Inventory Value (USD). We have taken that report and added a time dimension with Manufacturing Period Start Date. We expect that the last period in the report with the Manufacturing Period Start Date should match the Inventory Value (USD) in the Inventory Performance summary report.

Can you confirm that the Inventory Value (USD) in Inventory Performance Summary should represent the dollarized value of the ending inventory in the plan, for whatever prompts are selected (Org code, time period, category, etc).
