Convergence Fails to Load Default Theme (Doc ID 2255651.1)

Symptoms

Consider an Oracle Communications Unified Communications Suite setup comprising Convergence 3.x.

After restarting Convergence / GlassFish, sometimes the Default theme view setting fails to load.

Setting as in configuration.xml:

  user.common.theme = theme_grey

Users who do not have the sunUCTheme attribute set in LDAP get 'theme_blue' instead of 'theme_grey'.
When users have the sunUCTheme attribute set to 'theme_grey', the problem does not occur and the theme gets loaded successfully.

Convergence log (iwc.log) shows the following error:
