Unable To Create Store Order From SIM "Error Occurred During Service Invocation Root Cause: Input Cannot Be Null!" (Doc ID 2257222.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM) 13.2.8 version, In Shipping and Receiving user is unable to create Store Order from SIM application, below error is received.
 

ERROR
-----------------------
"Severe Error" "A severe system error has occurred. Please contact system administrator."


Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Go to Store selection;
  2. Click on Inventory Management;
  3. Click on Store Order notice that the above error is received,in SIM log file the below error can be seen;
ERROR-24341  User: XXXXX  Time: 4/12/17 1:56 PM  Type: SimServerException   Message: Error occurred during service invocation.   Root Cause: Input cannot be null!
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Input cannot be null!
