Goal

Provisioning of work orders delayed due to battery learning cycle on a SAN in database server.

Because of battery learning cycle, user observed delay in sending order response to upstream systems for the provisioning requests that were sent to the system.

1) For wireless orders, which did not use WebLogic for provisioning, delay was about 15 sec per order.
2) For wireline orders, which used WebLogic for provisioning, orders got stuck at error queue and had to be removed from the queue but never re-provisioned. Even though the redelivery limit is set to 10, it didn't work.

PS: This battery learning cycle in the database server is scheduled for 90 days once. So, is there is anything that can be done at user side to avoid this delay next time.
