Last updated on FEBRUARY 26, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 13.1.7 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

RMS removes  the VAT value in the income calculation of an VFP deal.

1) Create a new deal VFP in RMS and approve it
2) Create a new promotion in RPM and associate the deal created in RMS (option: vendor funded) and approve it.
3) When the deal is active, then create a new sale associate with promotion created in RPM.
4) After the sale load in RMS, check in deal_actuals_item_loc table that income is including VAT.

expect VAT to be excluded from the calculated income and not from the retail promo. Just as it is done in the calculation of the income of the deal VFM.

P.S: The retail price has VAT included and that VAT is not being excluded from the calculated income
