The High Projected Stock Out Alert Has Been Triggered For SKU/STR Incorrectly (Doc ID 2258459.1)

Last updated on MARCH 16, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Advanced Inventory Planning - Version 15.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

There are multiple problems here with the High Projected Out of Stock Alert:

High Projected Out of Stock Alert alert is being triggered for items that have less than 1 unit in projected stock, but not 0 units.   The alert should only be triggered if the Projected Stock is 0.

It also does not appear to be honoring the threshold settings as follows:

- High Proj. OOS Default Alerting Stores Ratio: 0,10
- High Proj. OOS Default Corporate Lost Sales Volume over horizon: 25
- High Proj. OOS Default Corporate Lost Sales % Forecast: 0,15
- High Proj. OOS Default Number of Proj. Days OOS: 3
- High Proj. OOS Horizon: 14

The sr0_eodinv is less than 1 and is triggering the sr0_prjoos as follows:
(d20170325 s445 <sku1>info): 0.6456
(d20170326 s445 <sku2 > info): 0.6456

>> printMeasure -d . -m sr0_prjoos -allPopulatedCells | grep 445
(d20170325 s445 <sku1> info): true
(d20170326 s445 <sku2>info): true

Note, however, that this does not meet the - High Proj. OOS Default Number of Proj. Days OOS: 3
