Error: "SEVERE: DBEngine.executeUpdate: IO Error: Socket read timed out" While Importing a Microsoft Project XML or P6 XML Concurrently With Another User (Doc ID 2259111.1)

Symptoms

When importing P6 or Microsoft Project (MSP) XML files frequently or when two users submit XML import jobs simultaneously, one of the jobs will fail with the following error.

"SEVERE: DBEngine.executeUpdate: IO Error: Socket read timed out."

The following error can be found in the C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\<Local, Local Low, OR Roaming>\Temp\PrmImportLog or C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\<Local, Local Low, OR Roaming>\Temp\2\<XML filename.xml>.xml.DetailImportLog.txt log file:

SEVERE: DBEngine.executeUpdate: IO Error: Socket read timed out, com.primavera.integration.client.xml.xmlimporter.XMLImporterException...

The following error can be found in the <P6 EPPM or Job Service process home>\p6\WebAccessLogs\P6WebAccess.html file:

A Threadpool thread PrmThread-30 was determined to be non responsive, a new thread has been created. On a side note, check your Maximum Task Duration and Maximum Long Running Task Duration values under ThreadPool settings java.net.SocketInputStream.socketRead0(Native Method)
