Verification Screen in Client Activity Throws NullPointerException (Doc ID 2260207.1)

Symptoms

Actual Behavior
The VerificationScreen in a Client level activity is no longer working after applying recent (10.2.0.12) patches.
When the verify button is clicked, the following stack trace occurs:



Steps to Reproduce
1. Open a client level transaction which has the VerificationScreen attached rule.
2. Enter values and click verify
Stack trace is returned.
