Cycle Fold Events Not Generated After Upgrade to BRM 7.5 PS12 (Doc ID 2262335.1)

Symptoms

On Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) patchset (PS) 12, Cycle Fold Events are NOT generated for some of the subscriber base after successful monthly billing (PCM_OP_BILL_MAKE_BILL) despite the accounts having at least a purchased product and a balance/service pair that should have triggered the cycle fold event.  Balances are not impacted and as a result of the following cycle forward event, the account's resources are rolled over without intention.

No errors are present in the pinlogs of pin_bill_day, pin_cycle_fee, connection manager (CM) or data manager (DM).

Steps to replicate:

  1. Advance pin_virtual_time (PVT) to the next bill day
  2. Run ONLY the pin_bill_day script (that first runs the pin_bill_accts scripts followed by the pin_cycle_fees script)
  3. Check the number of cycle fold and monthly cycle forward events
