Goal

Following latest version of Oracle Retail Merchandising ADF Applications Customization Guide (Doc ID 2018356.1), couple of questions arise as the term "weblogic server" is often used also as "integrated Weblogic server" and "local Weblogic" in multiple places.
Retail Merchandising System (RMS) version 16.0 Customization questions:

  1. As part of RMS ADF customization setup, it is required to install standalone Weblogic server locally on desktop/laptop or Weblogic server integrated with JDeveloper can be used?
  2. RMS.ear should point to a shared MDS schema or every developer needs to have a specific MDS schema? 
  3. Due to the fact that source code is not part of application release, how functional flows within ADF components can be tracked or debugged ? Are there any documentation available on the same?
