Russian Word Search Term Encoding Leads To No Results In Experience Manager (Endeca Browser) Record Search (Doc ID 2265945.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Records are indexed using Russian language (dgidx --lang ru flag) and using Latin-1 Language Analyzer (not the default OLT) for Russian language (<app-name>\config\pipeline\<app-name>.stemming.xml file shows USE_STATIC_WORDFORMS="TRUE").

The following issue has been observed:
- When doing a Record Search in Experience Manager for "KOCMOC", written with Cyrillic characters, there are no results.
- When doing a search in JSPRef for "KOCMOC", written with Cyrillic characters, there are results.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

There should be results when when doing a Record Search in Experience Manager for "KOCMOC", written with Cyrillic characters.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Use JSPRef application to search for "KOCMOC", written with Cyrillic characters.
2. Use the Endeca Browser and search for records in Experience Manager for "KOCMOC", written with Cyrillic characters.
