Not Able To Connect To Oracle DB Using Oracle Data Writer Component (Doc ID 2266040.1)

Last updated on MAY 22, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Endeca Information Discovery Integrator - Version 3.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

We have several graphs that have been running successfully in our active environment, but when we moved to our passive environment, we are not able to connect to the DB. We are able to manually load data using SQLLDR, but get a TNS listener error when running the graph. I am able to use a DB EXECUTE component to the same DB, just not the Oracle Data Writer component.

Connection Strings Used Manually with success:
1. sqlldr PMV/@//server.company.com:1521/server.company.com control=/tmp/user/user.ctl log=/tmp/user/user.log
2. sqlldr PMV/@PMVP control=/tmp/user/user.ctl log=/tmp/user/user.log

1. sqlldr PMV/@//server.company.com:1521/server.company.com control=/tmp/user/user.ctl log=/tmp/user/user.log
2. sqlldr PMV/@PMVP control=/tmp/user/user.ctl log=/tmp/user/user.log
