Consider a Message Store running Oracle Communications Messaging Server 188.8.131.52.0
One would notice the following behavior with large message file in the queue.
The 'tcp_smtp_client' process attempt to dequeue the message resulting in filling up the root ('/') file system (due to smtp client's use of '/tmp' for scratch area).
A core obtained on the 'tcp_smtp_server' show the failing thread as below:
