Symptoms

You are re-running your installation of Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management (ALM) or Profitability Management (PFT) 8.0 after having an issue with a previous attempt.  When you run the Schema Creator utility, the following error occurs:

[Thu 11/5/2017 10:46:22] [SCHEMAUTILITY] [DEBUG] - Executing ...SELECT * FROM dba_users WHERE UPPER(username) = UPPER('<atomicuser>')
[Thu 11/5/2017 10:46:22] [SCHEMAUTILITY] [DEBUG] - Executing ...SELECT * FROM db_master WHERE UPPER(DBUSERID) = UPPER('<atomicuser>')
[Thu 11/5/2017 10:46:22] [SCHEMAUTILITY] [DEBUG] - Executing ...SELECT * FROM dsnmaster where DBNAME IN (SELECT DBNAME FROM db_master WHERE UPPER(DBUSERID) = UPPER('<atomicuser>'))
[Thu 11/5/2017 10:46:22] [SCHEMAUTILITY] [ERROR] - A schema with the same name <atomic user> already exists in this OFSAA instance and is in use. Kindly specify a different schema name and execute the utility again.
[Thu 11/5/2017 10:46:22] [SCHEMAUTILITY] [ INFO] - ===================================================================================
[Thu 11/5/2017 10:46:22] [SCHEMAUTILITY] [ INFO] - Schemas Creation Failed.
[Thu 11/5/2017 10:46:22] [SCHEMAUTILITY] [ INFO] - ===================================================================================

The DSNMASTER table in the config schema does *not* contain a row with the atomic schema user.

Reviewing the SETUPINFO table, there are no applications installed in the environment.  You do not understand what triggers the error.
