Unable To Delete/Move/Rename Batch Result File Generated By IBSS Async Rating (Doc ID 2272202.1)

Unable to Delete/Move/Rename Batch Result File Generated by IBSS Async Rating

Customer has encountered an issue where Java SoftRater 5.0.1 is keeping a lock on the batch result file generated by async rating after the async processing has completed. When an attempt is made to delete/move/rename the file via Windows Explorer, it reports that “The action cannot be completed because the file is open in JAVA.EXE.”

The batch result file is unable to be deleted/moved/renamed until either of the following occurs first:

1) a significant amount of time (between 30-60 minutes) elapses
2) a subsequent batch job is submitted

Softrater should not lock files after processing has completed

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot delete/rename/move files after processing a batch.
