Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : version, Server for PDC

PDC is creating rate plan code as 33b8cb76-f5d8-4ae3-bb36-9fd8827ab801 in pipeline and rate plan name as same name which is entered for charge in PDC UI.
Since the rate plan code has – (hyphen sign) in it , the pipeline data plugin is not able to read it properly while rating . Pipeline is reading only part of the rate plan code (i.e that is till first hyphen sign 33b8cb76 ).

When attempting to create rate plan code as 33b8cb76-f5d8-4ae3-bb36-9fd8827ab801 in pipeline and rate plan name as same name which when  enter for charge in PDC UI.,

the following error occurs.

0.12.2016 16:04:10 The actual log level is NORMAL. All messages with this or
higher severity will be logged.
30.12.2016 16:04:10 Beginning to process stream '<NAME>'.
30.12.2016 16:04:10 The EDR with number '00000001' (starting at byteposition: 85) contains the errors :
30.12.2016 16:04:10 Rateplan '33b8cb76' not found in rateplan data-module.
30.12.2016 16:04:10 The EDR is rejected.
30.12.2016 16:04:10 End of the processing of stream '<NAME>'.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Create a Charge Offer with Price Override feature in PDC.
2.Include FCT_GlobalRating in pipeline registry file.
3.Inside FCT_GlobalRating we have included the rate plan code as below.
  ModuleName = FCT_GlobalRating
  Active = True
  4. When we process a CDR we are getting the below error in stream logs. It
seems the rateplan data-module is only reading the first part of the rate
plan code string before the hyphen(-) i.e. "33b8cb76" instead of the whole
string "33b8cb76-f5d8-4ae3-bb36-9fd8827ab801"
