(Doc ID 2273649.1)

Applies to:
Oracle Communications ASAP - Version 7.0.0 to 7.3.0.0.0 [Release 7.0.0 to 7.3.0]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
After installing ASAP we observed that the JMS Queue(MessageQueue) Expiry Policy is set to Discard.
Example Navigation :
Home >Summary of JMS Modules >DEVa.asap_jms_module >DEVa.MessageQueue : Configuration(Tab) > Delivery Failure(Tab)
We want to change the setting of this value to Redirect so that the messages will get forwarded to ErrorQueue once the message meets the expiration policy.
Question # 1: Do you recommend the above approach? Could you please let us know how to test this behavior to make sure it works as expected?
Question # 2: Regarding ErrorQueue: We moved the message from MessageQueue to ErrorQueue using WLS console. And we observed that the message was immediately consumed as this queue already has the consumers. But when we checked in the database we didn't find the entry in the table : tbl_wrk_ord. Could you please let us know what happens to the messages that are sent to ErrorQueue?
