When creating a User Defined Field (UDF), the option of "Use Formula" is an option for the value of "Summary Calculation". If this value is selected, various actions appear to cause it to eventually change to the value of "None", and then the option of "Use Formula" disappears from the available
options. In addition, Use Formula is not always an option when creating new UDF's.
- Log into P6 Web
- Navigate to Enterprise Data -> Project UDFs
- Create a new UDF using the below values:
- UDF = CPI
- Data type = Number
- UDF Type = Formula
- Summary Calculation = Use Formula
