Configurations Specifications Matching the Name Relationship not Found (Doc ID 2276874.1)

Last updated on MARCH 20, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Unified Inventory Management - Version 7.3.4.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The following error message when trying to add a resource reference under the components tabs, of the Resource Facing Service into custom model Cartridge::

Configuration Conflict - Configurations Specifications were not found that match the name relationship LastAddress. L3VPN_RFS.rsrcSrvc /Model_L3VPN_RFS/model Unknown Problem
Configuration Conflict - Configurations Specifications were not found that match the name relationship LeadAddress. L3VPN_RFS.rsrcSrvc /Model_L3VPN_RFS/model Unknown Problem

Consider the below steps as an example where the validation error can occur:

1. Resource Facing Service "L3VPN_RFS" contains 2 components RouteTaget and VPN.

2. Design Pattern 'Default Resource Facing Service Realization' is ran on "L3VPN_RFS" which creates Service Specification "L3VPN_RFS" and Service Configuration Specification "L3VPN_ RFSConfiguration"
The design pattern adds 2 config items corresponding to L3VPN_RFS components(i.e. RouteTarget and VPN) in the Service Configuration Specification entity 'L3VPN_ RFSConfiguration'.

3. Later, user adds another component say 'LeadAddress' to RFS. Now, the Configuration conflict error occurs because there is no config item corresponding to the newly added component 'LeadAdress' in the Service Config
Spec entity "L3VPN_ RFSConfiguration".
