**Disclaimer:** This KM article may include the following abbreviations:

HTTP - HyperText Transfer Protocol
MCP - Mobile Communication Platform
MDT - Mobile Data Terminals
MWM - Oracle Utilities Mobile Workforce Management
OUAF/FW - Oracle Utilities Framework
REST - Representational State Transfer

When users sign off their Crew Shifts from the MDT, it is typically taking around 5 minutes for the MCP to end the shift completely. In that time, the mobile user just sees a spinning icon, giving the appearance that the application has frozen. There seems to be minimal variance based upon the number of Assignments on the MCP.  Even when there is only 1 Assignment, it can still take several minutes for the Shift to end completely.
