SIM Allows the Container ID for a Store to Warehouse ASN Shipment to Be in Lowercase Letters Which Causes an Issue in RWMS (Doc ID 2277297.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM) system allows the user to enter a container ID in lowercase letters which then creates a problem in Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System (RWMS). RWMS system cannot process containers which are not in uppercase letters.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open SIM, go to Main Menu -> Shipping/Receiving -> Transfer Shipment.
2. Create a Transfer Shipment.
3. Click on the Info button and enter the Container ID in lowercase letters.
4. Confirm the Shipment.
5. Try to create an Advanced Shipment Notice (ASN) Appt. in RWMS and receive the container.
Since the container ID is not in uppercase letters, it will not be found in RWMS.
