(Doc ID 2278138.1)

Applies to:Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
On : 12.2.4 version, Memory Based Planner in All Instances:
Users are on 12.2.4 and have applied VCP Cum Patch 220.127.116.11 - 19549533 - Using 64 bit Linux MBP with MSONWL64.ppc 120.15.12020000.34.1220401.25 from one off patch 22295394. Users run an Unconstrained ASCP plan and are checking the Material Available Date (MAD) vs the Supply Pegging for Sales order demand in the ASCP Planners Workbench. By definition in the ASCP manual for Independent demands:
Oracle® Advanced Supply Chain Planning
Implementation and User's Guide
Part No. E48756-07 - pg 4-99
Date when the total demanded quantity is available. If there are multiple supplies pegging to the demand, it is the due date of the latest supply pegging to the demand. Users are seeing dates that do not match this definition in their Unconstrained Plan. They state the problem does not occur with Constrained plans. Example data:
item = PMLE5166AS
Org = PRD:MY2
There's a sales order qty = 7 with Sugg Due Date = 30-MAY-2017 and Material Available Date = 30-MAY-2017. However supply pegging for the sales order shows it's being satisfied 100% by a PO due 22-JUN-2017.
Users expected the material available date to be 22-JUN-2017
Steps to Reproduce
1. Run Unconstrained ASCP plan
2. Compare Sales order Material Available Date with Supply Pegging
3. Unexpected date shows for MAD
4. Run Constrained Plan
5. Issue does not occur
