Transfers are Partially Received Due to Lock on ITEM_LOC_SOH Table (Doc ID 2279101.1)

Symptoms

Transfers Are Partially Received Due to Lock on ITEM_LOC_SOH Table.

In 2 Scenarios this issue can be reproduced.

Steps To Recreate:

Scenario 1:

1.Create, approve and ship transfer with two or more items in RMS.

2.Lock ITEM_LOC_SOH table through database (by using update statement on item_loc_soh table and not committing it).

3.Open form for receiving. Inventory -> Receiving -> Item Receiving.

4.Populate all fields and click on 'Select items for receipt'.

5.Click on 'Default' button -> notice that column 'Receipt quantity' is not populated .

6.Click on Receipt quantity insert number, click on 'Apply Item' button -> notice that column 'Receipt quantity' is populated although error pop-up is shown.

7.Click on 'OK' button -> notice that there is no error thrown on locked item!

8.Check shipsku, tsfdetail see that only locked item WAS received other item is not updated. Also ITEM_LOC_SOH, SOH is not updated for the to location properly.

9.There will not be record with tran code 44 in tran_data.

Scenario 2:

1. Create, approve and ship transfer with one, two or more items in RMS.

2. Lock ITEM_LOC_SOH table through database (by using update statement on item_loc_soh table and not committing it).

3. Open form for receiving. Inventory -> Receiving -> Item Receiving.

4. Populate all fields and click on 'Select items for receipt'.

5. FIRST click on "Add Item", THEN click on 'Default' button.

6. Click on 'OK' button -> there is no error pop-up shown!.

7. Check shipsku, tsfdetail, item_loc_soh and tran_data tables.If lock was made by using this method, then shipsku and tsfdetail will have quantity received populated ( only for one item) , but soh in ILS table will not be increased and there will not be record with tran code 44 in tran_data.
