Unable to Search Persons Based on First Name in OHI Authorizations and OHI Claims

Currently users are unable to search Persons based on First Name in both OHI Authorizations and OHI Claims
The person lookup dialog in OHI Authorizations (and also in OHI Claims) has several fields on which a person can be searched. However, one important field, the first name of the person, is missing from this list of search criteria. Additionally, once a search is done and a pick list of persons is presented, the first name is not shown. (This field was in version 2.14.2)
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate Reference Data > Relations > Relations
2. See filter by search and advanced search -- neither include the 'first name' field
The issue has the following business impact:
Creating authorizations happens multiple times per day and the number of persons to choose from runs into the hundreds of thousands. In order to make a choice the first name is a very important criterion. As it is not possible to filter on first name in the first place, and because the first name is also not shown in the pick list, the potential for making the wrong choice and thereby authorizing the wrong person while the right one is not authorized for treatment, is big. This could potentially even impact the health of a patient.
Can this field be added to both OHI Authorizations and OHI Claims Adjudication?
