How to Configure Initial Measurement Data to Fail Validation When No Condition Code Configured for Meter Data Management (Doc ID 2280896.1)

Last updated on JUNE 05, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management - Version 2.2.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

How do you configure Meter Data Management so that Initial Measurement Data (IMDs) fail validation when there is no quality condition code?

Business scenario requires that IMD validation produces an exception when passing a quality code which is not set in MDM. Even if you send a quality code which is not set up in MDM the IMD won't produce an exception. This is because the software will populate it with the default condition code (usually 'Regular - 501000) and the measurement will finalize.
