QoS RemoveQoSFeature Successful Response With Diameter 3002 In The Response Body (Doc ID 2282123.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 30, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Services Gatekeeper - Version 6.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Successful API response for RemoveQosFeatures showed "Diameter 3002 - unable to deliver" inside the response body. The session entry in OCSG Database was removed. It is hard for operation staff to monitor the Session Status both in OCSG Database and PCRF Session pool.
This can be reproduced when Diameter Server sends STA - diameter error 3002 to OCSG.

In this case, the response of RemoveQoSFeature should be "Failed", then operation staff can be informed about this scenario for error tracing.
